Why Dropzone AI Exists
Dropzone AI founder and CEO Edward Wu spent eight years building the detection engine at ExtraHop, a leading network detection and response (NDR) vendor. He saw firsthand that better detections alone would not solve the asymmetry problem in cybersecurity. Security teams were drowning in alerts, and the limits of human analysts had become the limits of defense.
Dropzone AI was founded to break that constraint. The company builds AI agents that work alongside human defenders, investigating every alert, responding to emerging threats, and hunting attackers at a scale that human teams alone cannot sustain.
The vision: human strategy, machine scale. Defenders set the direction. AI agents execute at speed and consistency no human team can match.
